Acer Liquid Z530, Liquid Z630s Released In India: Acer does not need an introduction in the world of computers but it failed to create the same magic when it ventured into the world of Smartphones. However, they have once again made a come back in the mobile sector that too with not one but two smartphones, the Acer Liquid Z530 and the Acer Liquid Z630s, the smartphones being under the Acer Liquid Z Series.  

With the price tags of Rs. 10,999/- and Rs. 6,999/- for the Z630s and the Z530 respectively these new Acer smartphones will compete in the lower to mid budget segment of the smartphone market in India.

Acer Liquid Z530 Specs and Features

The Acer Liquid Z530 sports a 5 inch IPS OGS display on the front with  720×1280 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 64 bit quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor that is clocked at 1.3 GHz and this is coupled with 2GB of RAM.


The phone also offers 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone runs the Android v5.1 Lollipop. The phone does include the 4G LTE option, other than that it offers connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Micro-USB. A good 2420 mAh battery is what fuels the device.

The other handset Acer Liquid Z630s measuring 156.3×77.5×8.9mm, sports a bigger 5.5 inch HD IPS OGS screen having a 720×1280 pixels resolution. It features Acer’s own Zero Air Gap technology. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor and this is well supported with 3GB of RAM.


The phone comes in 32GB storage option and it also provides its users the option to expand the storage using a microSD card. The Acer Liquid Z630s houses a large 4000mAh battery to keep the smartphone running.

Liquid Z530 Specifications

In the camera department the Z630s is similar to the Liquid Z530, it sports the same 8 MP camera on the back and front, with the front camera supporting wide-angle lens, and is also capable of recording 1080p videos. The phones runs the Liquid UI over Android v5.1 Lollipop.

Acer with the launch of these smartphones in India becomes the newest entrant in the ‘Make in India’ initiative and both these smartphones will be manufactured at the new Acer Plant in Pondicherry.
