HTC finally officialized its HTC 10 mobile phone and it looks like that this flagship smartphone has got all that is required to reclaim its lost spot in the world of smartphones. The new smartphone from HTC is not a revolutionary device and it does not come with any new innovative technology, it is more of a refinement of the HTC flagship that the company has been working on for some years now. HTC has decided to not call the new flagship ‘HTC One M10’, which we are happy about. The company also announced the less powerful HTC 10 Lifestyle edition. Read on to get all the information about the HTC 10 price, specs and other features.
The Taiwanese smartphone maker has perfectly blended the design of its M-series smartphones and the A9 handset that was released a few months back. The company claimed that it has spent the last one year designing this phone and in doing so it has integrated the feedback received from its customers throughout the development of the device.
The new HTC 10 looks like its predecessor M9 on the rear side and its front resembles the A9. What makes me appreciate this new mobile phone from HTC more is the fact that it does not look like the iPhone. The HTC 10 sports an all-aluminum build with chamfered edges and perfectly machined ports.
The handset features a fingerprint scanner on the front placed below the display, between two capacitive ‘back and recent apps’ buttons. The new 10 from HTC is all premium to look at.
HTC 10 Specs and Features
Moving on to the HTC 10 specifications and features, the smartphone will come flaunting a 5.2-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display on the front having a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The metal body of the HTC 10 mobile phone will come packed with a 64-bit quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and this will be clubbed with 4GB of RAM space and Adreno 530 GPU to look after multi tasking and improved graphics. The device will be available on two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, having a microSD card slot that can be used to expand the storage space up to an extra 2TB.
HTC 10 Camera
The camera is one department for which the company received a lot of flakes in the past and it claims that it has made a lot of improvements in the HTC 10 camera, the mobile phone comes with a 12MP HTC Ultrapixel 2 camera that includes f/1.8 aperture, 1.55um pixels and the primary camera is further supported by dual tone LED flash, Laser Auto Focus, OIS. It can also capture 4K quality videos. HTC 10 also becomes the first smartphone to feature OIS in its front camera which is a 5MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture, 1.34um pixels, autofocus, OIS, and 86-degree wide angle.
HTC 10 Other Features
The company has also claimed that with the Sense 3 UI it has optimized the software and hardware resulting in the HTC 10 being 50 percent more responsive. The new feature that comes in the new 10 HTC smartphone is the high-resolution audio system. The device comes with a headphone amplifier, which outputs double the amount of power as other smartphones. It features HTC BoomSound, Dolby Audio and also packs 3 noise cancelling microphones.
