Finally, wait is over as Chinese firm Huawei launched its new flagship Mate 8 some time ago. Huawei Mate 8 is a sequel of its last year launched Mate 7. Mate 8 is a stylish smartphone featuring latest generation Kirin 950 SoC processor. The device is also featuring Android Marshmallow operating system and a handful of interesting features. Huawei launched Mate 8 only in china yet.
The Mate 8 includes 6-Inch Full HD large display which is covered in 2.5D Gorilla Glass and 4000mAh battery. The phone’s edge to edge design gives it 83% screen to body ratio. Huawei has not yet revealed all the information about size and weight of the device, but as we can see in the photos the phone is looking quite thin.

The phone is available in Moonlight Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Mocha Brown. The phone is also having fingerprint sensor which is said to be faster and accurate than the Mate 7’s sensor.
The Kirin 950 processor is the first processor to feature four Cortex-A72 and Four Cortex A53 CPU cores, combined with a Mali-T880 GPU. So we are expecting that this 16-nm FinFET design will give improved performance and power efficiency than Kirin 930.
The main thing is Kirin 950 brings with it an i5 co-processor, which will responsible to handle speech recognition, low power mp3 consumption and location-based power consumption.
The device will available with rear camera of 16MP Sony IMX298 Sensor W/1.12um pixels and 8MP Sony IMX179 F/2.4 aperture, 26mm eq front camera. The device comes with 2 configurations that are 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate 8 offers dual-nano sim capability. you also may use second sim slot as microSD slot.
