Lenovo launched the Lenovo Vibe S1 in India, earlier in December, now at the ongoing CES in Las Vegas the company has unveiled the toned down version of the Vibe S1 called Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite. Lenovo has again kept their focus on selfies in the new Vibe smartphone by including a front flash so that you don’t miss out on a good selfie during those night outs and bar meets.
The new Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite comes with the dimensions of 145 x 71 x 8.6mm and though being among the taller smartphones, it carries a weight of 129g. The Vibe S1 Lite just like its predecessor sports a 5 inch IPS display with a full HD resolution. Under the hood, the Vibe S1 Lite has a lower powered Mediatek MT6753 chipset, compared to the MT6752 that we saw powering the previous Vibe smartphone, due to this w get a lower clock speed of 1.3GHz as opposed to the previous 1.7GHz. The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite does promises global 4G LTE coverage. The silicon inside the smartphone will be coupled with 2GB of RAM space and with that the user will get 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

Now moving on to the camera department of the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite, just like its predecessor, the main talking point of the Vibe S1 Lite in the selfie camera. The smartphone though does not have the dual camera setup on the front like the earlier Vibe S1 though it has coupled the 8MP Sony sensor with a LED flash. The front camera sensor comes with large 1.4-micron photosites. The company says that the front camera has 5 element lens which is fixed focus type. On the rear end, there is a 13MP primary camera sensor that comes with features such as dual LED flash and phase detection autofocus.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite comes with an impressive 2,700mAh battery that according to the company will provide good one-day usage.
The Vibe S1 Lite comes with connectivity features such as 4 LTE, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, and FM radio. In the software department, the smartphone will come running the Android v5.1 Lollipop.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite carries a price tag of $199 (Rs. 13,220 approx.) and the smartphone is expected to hit the shelves towards the end of January.
