LeTV Le 1s Review (Initial Impressions)

The first thing I noticed about the smartphone after I took it out of the box was that the smartphone sports a very impressive build. The LeTV Le 1s smartphone sports a metal unibody design and the device in no ways look like just a budget-priced smartphone. LeTV’s own EUI that comes running over Android v5.0 Lollipop works smooth though I feel that it can get better with some OTA updates. The phone runs very smooth without any lag, the processor does a commendable job, though the smartphone got a bit warm while i played Asphalt, though it never got irritably warm. About the LeTV Le 1s cameras, they do not do justice to the other departments of the smartphone. The cameras struggle to click good quality pictures in low light and artificial lighting conditions. I must add that it did click impressive pictures outdoors. The selfie camera on the LeTV can be passed, it is just average. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM on paper but I mostly got 1.2GB of free RAM even when there was no app running though that do not affect the phone’s performance.

Among the things that impressed me about the LeTV Le1s are the full metal unibody design that makes the 1s smartphone feel and look very premium in hands, Snappy Processor, brilliant fingerprint scanner, which is fast and accurate, the IR Blaster, USB Type-C.

Final Verdict:  If you want a new smartphone and your budget is around 10K, you can blindly go for the LeTV Le 1s smartphone if the camera is not among your priorities. Other than that you will not be disappointed with the LeEco Le 1s. The Le 1s will probably have no competition in the next 2-3 months in this price range.
