Meizu is once again all set to launch the mini version of one of its mainstream smartphones, of the recently unveiled Meizu Pro 5 and it will be called the Meizu Pro 5 Mini. Meizu had earlier chose to stop the MX5 line and launched a new sub-brand of smartphones called Pro and the first smartphone of the PRO branding, the Meizu Pro 5 was unveiled in September 2015 and now, under 3 months, the company is once again readying itself to launch the mini version of the Meizu Pro 5 -the Meizu Pro 5 Mini.
The Meizu Pro 5 Mini features a few upgraded specifications over the Meizu Pro 5 but has a smaller 4.7 inch display with Full HD resolution whereas the PRO had a 5.7 inch display.

According to reports, the Meizu Pro 5 Mini will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio X20 processor that in is superior to the Snapdragon 810 and the Exynos 7420, which was used in the predecessor Meizu Pro 5 due to the deca core processor. The processor will also be running the Cortex-A72 cores over the Cortex-A57 ones used in the Pro 5.
The phone will feature a 4.7 inch display having Full HD resolution. The Meizu Pro 5 Mini will be released in two storage variants, the 32GB and 64GB. The phones are expected to cost $315 and $394 respectively.The best part in all these leaks being that the Meizu Pro 5 Mini will most probably be featuring an all metal build.
The Meizu Pro 5 was itself a very impressive smartphone with 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display and was powered by the Exynos 7420 processor that also powers the range of Samsung Flagships of 2015 including the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
There has not been any official announcement about the Meizu Pro 5 Mini by the company, but according to the rumor mill the smartphone will be released by the end of next month. We will keep you updated with all the latest happenings with the Meizu Pro 5 Mini, so keep a check.
