Motorola Mobility has today released a new edition of their hit smartphone lineup, the Moto G in Mexico. This smartphone will be called Moto G Turbo and it is a bumped up version of the last Moto G 3rd Generation smartphone. The device that goes on sale next week, November 13 to be precise, is priced at $283 USD.

Let’s have a look at what more is the Moto G Turbo Edition offering over the Moto G 3rd Gen. To start with, the Turbo Edition of the device features a 5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Moto G3 too had a 5-inch display, but the resolution was lower at 720 x 1280 pixels.

The Moto G Turbo Edition is powered by an octa core, Snapdragon 615 processor, with that it has  the Adreno 405 GPU compared to the Snapdragon 410 SoC, which powered the Moto G 3rd Generation. The new Moto G Turbo has 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and with that it has 16GB of internal storage.

The Moto G Turbo Edition houses a 13 MP camera on the back with a good f/2.0 aperture and on the front it has a 5 MP secondary camera having f/2.2 aperture.

The smartphones is packed with 2470 mAh battery and this supports Turbo charging, so with the Moto G Turbo Edition you will not have to wait for hours to completely charge your phone. Similar to the 3rd generation Moto G smartphone it too has IPX7 certification meaning that the phone can last for 30 minutes inside water at a maximum depth of 3 m, without any damage to the handset.

In addition to the above-mentioned features the Turbo edition of the Moto G has connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
