The India-based smartphone manufacturing firm, Reliance Retail has quietly launched a new smartphone dubbed as Lyf F8. The company is said to be to get the hall of fame of 5th position in the world with the whooping number of consumers within a month. As for now, the handset is listed on the company’s official website.
The newly launched handset is the upgraded version of the Flame 8, it flaunts a 4.5-inches IPS FWVGA display having a resolution of 854*480 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 218 PPI and 16M colors. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor that is clocking at a speed of 1.3GHz paired with Adreno 304 Graphics.
The Lyf F8 specifications and features at this price tag will target the entry-level markets.On the software end, it runs on latest Android 6.0 based Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It houses an 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion and is coupled with 1GB RAM.
Concerning to the Reliance Lyf F8 camera, it packs a 8MP autofocus primary camera with LED flash along with the 5-megapixel front facing camera for the selfies and video calling. It can record the videos up to 720P at 30 frames per second and features an Auto Focus, Smile Detection, Gaze Detection, Blink Detection and Panorama.
Dimensionally, the handset measures a 132.6 x 66.2 x 9.3 mm and weighs around 138 grams and is backed by a 2000mAh battery. The Lyf F8 price is listed on the company official website for Rs. 4,199. However, there is no information regarding the availability of the handset.
