The population of 4G smartphones have been increasing considerably in the past few months, with Indian smartphones like introducing 4G smartphones at regular short intervals of time, the latest ones being the Intex Aqua Star 4G and Intex Aqua GenX among others. Carrying on this trend forward, Videocon Mobiles launched a new 4G smartphone in their Infinium series, named Videocon Infinium Z55 Krypton.
The company’s latest 4G smartphone Infinium Z55 Krypton features a large 5 inch HD IPS display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and this is protected by Dragontrail X Anti-Scratch glass. The Infinium Krypton is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, which is clocked at 1.3 GHz. This is coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM space. The smartphone offers 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card.

The smartphone features a 13 MP camera on the rear supported with LED flash and on the front the smartphone features a 5 MP selfie camera. The smartphone supports dual-SIM usage and 4G LTE connectivity for the TD-LTE 2300 MHz and FDD-LTE 1800 MHz bands in India. The smartphone runs Android v5.1 Lollipop.
