The Indian smartphone manufacturer Xolo launched a new variant of its already available online smartphone range ‘Black’. This latest Xolo Black smartphone features 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and it carries a price tag of Rs 11,999. The Xolo Black with 3GB of RAM will be exclusively available on the e-commerce website Snapdeal for which you will have to register for the flash sale. The registration process starts today at 8 pm and the flash sale will occur on the 29th December 2015. Note that this latest Xolo Black phone is different from the previously launched Xolo Black 1X that too offers 3GB of RAM.


The Xolo Black (3GB) at the thickness of 7.3 mm, sports a 5.5 inch OGS IPS display, having a Full HD resolution and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back panel of the smartphone also have the Gorilla Glass protection and it also have an oleophobic coating to avoid smudges.

Under the hood, this Xolo Black smartphone is powered by the second generation 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. The smartphone comes packed with 16GB of internal storage and this is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. The smartphone supports 4G LTE usage and has a hybrid dual SIM slot. This smartphone comes with the added feature of USB OTG.

In the camera department, the Xolo Black (3GB RAM) houses a dual camera setup on the back in which the primary sensor is a 13 MP one and the other is a 2 MP one. On the front, the smartphone features a 5MP selfie camera that has a wide-angle lens and is supported with flash. It is backed up with a 3200 mAh battery.


The Xolo Black 1X features a 5 inch On-Cell IPS Display with Full HD resolution and a pixel density of 441ppi. This is protected with the Asahi Dragontrail glass. The Black 1X is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MTK6753 processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz and is coupled with 3GB of RAM space. The phone offers its users 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB by using a microSD card.
