ZTE’s subsidiary brand Nubian yesterday teased a picture on its official account on the Chinese social networking website ‘Weibo’, for expectedly something big happening on the 5th January 2016, which probably will be a new product launch.
The teaser image has ‘Hello, World’ written across it, so it might be an indication that the brand new Nubia flagship handset will be launched all over the world at the same time, on its new international website. The launch event will take place on the 5th of January, which is just one day before the CES 2016 that undergoes on the 6th of January. The most probable smartphone which might be launched on the 5th of January is the next ZTE Nubia flagship smartphone, Nubia Z11.
We had earlier reported that the upcoming ZTE Nubia Z11 will probably feature a curved display. The other rumors about the ZTE Nubia Z11 suggest that the smartphone will probably feature a metal build. With that the smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch display on the front with QHD resolution, which is equivalent to 1440 x 2560 pixels.

The smartphone will probably come packed and powered by the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. This will be coupled with 4GB of RAM space and for graphics, it will have Adreno 530 GPU. The Nubia Z11 is also expected to house good camera specifications, on the back the smartphone will feature a 20.7MP primary shooter and on the front, it will house a 13MP selfie camera. The next flagship smartphone from Nubia will be available in three storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Just a few days back, ZTE had shelled out a whopping $2 million to get the nubia.com domain name. Therefore, we can predict that the new smartphone and the new website may be launched on the same date of 5th January. It is still just a probability that the Nubia Z11 would be announced on the 5th January but if it does get announced it will be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 820 to be announced.
