After launching the high-end ZTE Axon Max Smartphone recently in China, the Chinese smartphone maker has this time around come with an entry level smartphone ZTE Voyage 3, which was launched yesterday in China. The ZTE Voyage 3 is the successor to the ZTE Voyage 2, which was launched earlier this year. The smartphone does not feature any top of the line spec or features but considering the price tag which is just CNY 799, which approximately translates to Rs. 8,165 we cannot complain and the deal seems pretty fair.
The ZTE Voyage 3 has a thickness of 8.4mm and weighs around 150 grams, it sports a 5 inch HD IPS display on the front that has a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, which clocks a speed of 1GHZ. With this the smartphone is packed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, the device does include a microSD slot using which the storage can be further expanded. A mention for the removable back cover needs to be made which comes with a different kind of finish offering better grip.

Coming to the camera department of the newly launched smartphone, it has an 8MP camera sensor in the rear with LED Flash and autofocus, and on the front, it houses a 5MP selfie camera which has built-in photo sensor that enables it to click better selfies. The device runs the Android v5.1 Lollipop with the company’s own UI on top of it. The ZTE Voyage 3 might be taken on a voyage as it is fuelled by a huge 4,080mAh battery, which the company claims will provide six days of regular usage and 355 days when on the standby mode.
The smartphone offers dual-SIM usage in which only the first SIM is capable of 4G LTE connectivity, other than this the smartphone offers connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 port, and a GPS/A-GPS.
Due to the huge battery capacity of the ZTE Voyage 3, the smartphone features the reverse charging feature, which can be used to charge other smartphones using an OTG cable.
