Apple Watch going to Launch in India on 06 November: Apple’s Official Website has announced Date

Apple has though not made any announcement about the prices of the Apple Watch India but seeing the prices of the smartwatches in the US that is $349 (Rs. 23,000 approx) for the base model (Apple Watch Sport model), we are of the opinion that the Apple Watch will start with the price tag of somewhere around Rs. 35000 in India. The other models viz. Apple Watch model’s base model costs $549 (Rs. 35,700 approx) and the Apple Watch Edition price goes up to a whopping $17,000 (Rs. 11 lakhs approx).

There has not yet been any announcement about the place that the Apple Watch will retail and from where the Apple Watch fans will be able to purchase the Watch as here Apple does not have its own stores and sells through resellers and stores within stores only.

The Apple Watch will be available in two sizes options – 38 and 42 mm and the Watch has three editions, Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch, and Apple Watch Edition. The Sport Edition uses a strong Ion-X glass over the display and the Apple Watch and the Apple Watch Edition feature sapphire crystal displays.

The Apple Watch will be seeing a launch in Chile, Philippines, and South Africa today after the watch was introduced in Saudi Arabia and UAE on Thursday. It has already been 6 months since the launch of the Apple Watch, but it is presently seeing a slow expansion. This slow rate can be because of the fact that Apple was deciding whether if they should sell the Apple Watch in jewellery stores or in the usual multi-brand gadget shops.
