The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, HTC has been releasing various variants of its flagship smartphone HTC One M9, we saw the release of the HTC One M9e in China towards the end of October. The latest smartphone to be added to this category is the HTC One M9s, which the company launched in its home ground Taiwan.
The latest HTC One M9e inherits the design of the M9 and looks very much similar to it with the same metal design, texture and color range.

At the measure of 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm and the weight of 158 gms, the HTC One M9s features a 5 inch IPS display that has a 1080 x 1920 pixels full HD resolution. The smartphone like the HTC One M9+ and One M9e, is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795T Helio X10 processor that is clocked at 2.2GHz; the One M9e just has 2GB of RAM compared to the 3GB RAM we saw on the One M9+.
The One M9e comes packed with 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card.
In the camera department, the HTC One M9s sports a 13 MP primary camera on the back and it has an aperture of f/2.0, with that it has features like autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilisation), BSI sensor, 1080p video recording, and LED flash. On the front, the One M9s has an UltraPixel camera like the M9+. The One M9s will come running the Android v5.0 Lollipop with the Sense UI on top it. It will only support one SIM.
The Connectivity options on the device include features like 4G LTE, Wi Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA, Infrared, NFC and FM radio.
The HTC One M9s has a decent 2840mAh battery to back it up and the battery is a non-removable one, the same as we saw on the One M9 and M9+. The smartphone is currently up for pre-orders on the company’s website in Taiwan at a price tag of TWD 12,900 (Rs. 26,000 approx) and it will start shipping on Saturday. The company has not yet announced anything about the global availability of the M9s in the smartphone markets outside Taiwan.
