After month of leaks and predictions Huawei has finally released a teaser poster that points to a Huawei Mate 8 release on the 26th November. This teaser poster confirms the earlier reports that has claimed that the Huawei Mate 8 will be released toward the end of the year.
The Huawei Mate 8 is the successor of the Ascend Mate 7 and the Chinese company has managed to keep the leaks related with the smartphone to the minimum. Whatever little leaks that has somehow found its way to the market were earlier mixed with the one’s for the Huawei Mate S but with the later already released, we can paint a clearer picture related to the Huawei Mate 8. A GFXBench listing has also been recently recovered suggesting to be a high end device from Huawei, which in most probably is the Huawei Mate8.
Huawei Mate 8 Release Date Fixed It will Launch on 26 November:
Going by this leaked benchmark, the handset that is referred to as “Huawei NXT-AL10”, will sport a huge 6.0 inch Full HD display, but according to another leak the display will be a QHD one.
According to the benchmark too, the Huawei Mate 8 Smartphone is said to be powered by Huawei’s own custom Kirin 950 chipset, which the company will release on the 5th November, this according to the OEM will deliver large amount of power with their 16nm FinFET production process and the ‘big.LITTLE’ architecture that has four cores of Cortex-A72 that are clocked at 2.2 GHz or may be 2.4 GHz. In addition to that theie are four other Cortex-A53 ones and those are clocked at 2.0 GHz.
With the impressive processor, the Huawei Mate 8 has the ARM Mali-T880 GPU and that will be supported with an i7 co-processor and the independent Tensilica Hi-Fi 4 audio chip.
According to the GFXBench sheet, the Huawei Mate 8 will come packed with 4GB of RAM and with that offer 64GB of internal storage.
Previous leaks about the Huawei Mate 8 had suggested that the phone would feature a 13MP camera but in this latest GFXBenchmark the phone is said to sport a 15MP primary shooter with 4608 x 3456 pixels resolution. The secondary camera on the front is said to be a 7MP sensor offering a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 8 is further said to feature support for dual SIM, microSD card slot, NFC and a fingerprint sensor and like the Mate S it is also expected to feature a Force Touch display. This is still mere predictions but we will soon get to know the exact details about the Huawei Mate 8 on 26 November when the phone will be officially launched.
The 3 GB variant of the Huawei Mate 8 is said to carry a price tag of CNY 3,299 ($520, 34075 INR approx.) and the 4GB variant of CNY 3,899 ($610. 40720 INR approx).
