After Microsoft announced three Windows Smartphones earlier in October – Microsoft Lumia 950, Lumia 950XL and the Lumia 550, it is readying to come up with its fourth Windows 10 phone and this time it is going to be a budget friendly one. This knowledge has come to us thanks to Winbeta who has provided the renders of the device. This Microsoft smartphone is codenamed “Saana”, and going by the leaks it will feature mid range specs.
If we go by the time shown on the leaked rendered images, this new Microsoft Saana Smartphone can be released as Microsoft Lumia 650. This predictions becomes more firm seeing the fact that the Previous official renders of the Lumia models, Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 550, also had their model numbers tipped as the time that shown up on the screen (9:50, 5:50, and the same).
Microsoft Lumia ‘Saana’ Leaked Renders: Lumia 650 Codenamed ‘Saana’ Leaked Renders
Also going by the sources, the Microsoft Saana will be the global variant of Lumia 650, RM-1152. Alan Mendelevich, CEO of AdDuplex, says that other than this there will be three more variants, namely – RM-1150, RM-1154, & RM-1156.
Also the suggested specs for the Microsoft Saana (Lumia 650) include a 5 inch display that has a pixel density of 720p and the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 processor. The Microsoft Saana is also said to sport an 8MP camera on the back and will provide an expandable memory option with the use of a microSD card. The phone will be fuelled by a 2000mAh battery. It will also feature the Glance Screen support we have already seen in previous Microsoft Smartphones. The leaked rendered images also confirm that the Microsoft Sanna will miss the dedicated camera button. But we would like to say that, these are just speculations. The actual specs of the device might vary. We will have to wait for some official details to get a confirmed specs sheet.
The Microsoft Lumia 650 might just choose to pack the phone with a bit more powerful hardware but the phone will be put to compete in the lower mid-range segment. We expect that more details about the device will be surfacing soon and the device will most probably be released in the first quarter of 2016.
