The Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo has launched its latest smartphone, the Oppo A33 in its home turf at a price tag of CNY 1,499, which translates to Rs. 15,500 approximately. The smartphone has good put up on the OPP’s official China Website.

The A33 smartphone is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 410 chipset, which is clocked at 1.2 Ghz, this is paired up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that is further expandable to using a microSD card up to 128GB.
In the camera department, the Oppo A33 features a 8MP camera on the back and on the front the smartphone features a 5MP selfie shooter. The front camera also has various beautification modes to enhance your selfies and make you look better. The Oppo A33 runs its own ColorOS 2.1 on top of the Android v5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone has glass on both the front and back which is a big plus at this price point.
The Oppo A33 smartphone is fuelled by a 2400 mAh battery, which according to the company claims is capable to provide 8 hours of talk time. The smartphone supports 4G LTE and it has other important connectivity options such as 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and MicroUSB 2.0 connectivity.
The phone supports dual SIM usage – one Micro SIM card and the other being a Nano SIM card. If you are worried if or if not the Oppo A33 will support the Indian LTE bands, then you will be happy to know that according to the listings on the Chinese website the Oppo A33 supports the Indian LTE bands.
Oppo has not yet announced anything about its plans of launching the Oppo A33 outside China but we are hoping that the Oppo soon launches the device in India. The Oppo A33 at this price tag and the kind of features it has to offer the Oppo A33 will directly compete against with Motorola Moto G (Gen 3) and Xiaomi Mi 4i.
