Indian smartphones manufacturer Xolo has launched the Xolo Era HD in India, this smartphone is the follow up to the Xolo Era smartphone launched earlier this year. The Xolo Era HD like its predecessor is also a sub 5000 smartphone and will be up for purchase with a price tag of Rs. 4,777.
The main USP of the Xolo Era HD smartphone is the HD screen at this entry level price. The phone sports a 5 inch IPS display with HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels, and the pixel per inch count of 294 ppi. The screen with 85% NTSC offers better picture quality.
Xolo Era HD Launched at Rs 4777 with 5-inch Screen and Android 5.1 Lollipop
It is powered by a 1.2 GHz, quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor and this is coupled with 1GB of RAM space and a Mali 400 MP GPU.
In the camera department, the phone has an 8 MP shooter on the rear with autofocus and LED Flash. On the front of the device, there is a 5 MP secondary camera to click selfies.
Out of the box, the Xolo Era HD smartphone runs the Android v5.1 Lollipop.
The Xolo Era HD comes packed with packs 8 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone is also efficiently fuelled by a 2500 mAh battery that the company claims to offer 10 hours of talk time and a good stand by time of 556 hours on 3G networks.
The Xolo Era HD doesn’t support 4G usage, but it comes with the other essential connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot functionality, FM radio, GPS, and Micro USB.
The Xolo Era HD that will be available at a price of Rs. 4,777 will be exclusively available on Gadgets 360°, the registrations for the sale have already started.
